Job summary
To work as a member of the TB Nursing Team of the Royal Berkshire Hospital covering West Berkshire (Reading. Bracknell, Henley on Thames, Thatcham, Newbury and Hungerford).
To assist in the screening of patients suspected to have active or latent TB.
To support the clinical nurse specialists in the multidisciplinary management and nursing care of TB treatment, and in the absence of a senior nurse complete clinics to provide continuity of care
Main duties of the job
Independent Nurse led New entrant screening clinics
BCG vaccination
TB education and promote TB awareness.
