Breast Screening Administrative Co-ordinator - SMS & Data Inputting

Job summary

West Berkshire NHS Breast Screening Programme is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their well-established administrative team based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. We are a family friendly, flexible multi-disciplinary teamproviding a first class service to our clients.

The main aim of the role is to facilitate an increase in the uptake of the breast screening programme though SMS messaging and telephone contact with those not attending alongside supporting the administrative coordinators.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in administration and/or customer service and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to manage their own workload.

All interviews will be held face to face in the breast screening department

Main duties of the job

Support the breast screening programme to increase uptake

Ensure that SMS appointment reminders are sent out via DrDoctor at the correct intervals.

Liaise with senior team members regarding the cancellation of clinics/individual patients via Broadcast messages within DrDoctor.

Ensure patients who do not attend their screening appointment receive a message at the correct interval reminding them to book a further appointment.
