Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in education in the NHS. The job is based in the Royal Berkshire Simulation Centre, within the hospital, as apart-time Simulation Technical Officer.

We are looking for someone with buckets of enthusiasm and excellent team working skills. We deliver a range of courses to teach doctors, nursesand other healthcare staff using life-like mannikins that can breathe and other innovative equipment.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant would be trained in the technical aspects of the job. The postholder would be responsible for organising and maintainingboth equipment and stock for the Simulation Centre. Good organisational skills are essential. A background in either administration or using multimediaequipment would be advantageous.

This role is part-time and forms a job share. The days required are Wednesday to Friday for a total of 22.5 hours per week. A certain amount offlexibility is required around working hours to cover service needs but an average day would be from 8 am until 4 pm.
