Job summary

Due to the internal secondment of the current postholder, an opportunity has arisen to join the Strategy and Partnerships Team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust for 12 months.

This is a particularly exciting time to be joining, as we begin our work to refresh the Trust Strategy in 2025, and take our Clinical Services Strategy into delivery. These two items will be the primary focus for the successful candidate.

Interviews are scheduled for 17 October 2024.

Main duties of the job

The Strategy and Partnerships Team are a high-performing, cross-functional team that provide strategic engagement and support across the organisation and with our partners across Berkshire West and our Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care System (BOB ICS). The team are fast-paced and are responsible for:o Leadership of Trustwide strategy development including the 2025 Trust Strategy Refresh and supporting the delivery of our Clinical Services Strategy

o Provide strategic guidance and expertise across RBFT

o System and place strategy, partnership development and engagement

o Relationship management and collaboration with academic partners including the University of Reading

o Primary care partnership, engagement, innovation and collaboration

JOB SUMMARY: The Strategy and Partnerships Manager will support RBFT through a programme of strategic development and planning, which includes (but is not limited to) business and strategic planning, new care models and local integration. This includes our refresh of the Trust Strategy in 2025. To help build effective working relationships and local partnerships that drive the delivery of new ways of working across the Berkshire West Place, the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care System (BOB ICS), and the wider Thames Valley and South East region. To develop collaborative partnerships across the Thames Valley and provide a key strategic link between external partners and internal departments in establishing a strategic alliance in association with a wide range of organisations, academic and clinical partners with a view to delivering on Our Strategy: Improving Together.
