A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the award winning Learning and Organisational development team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading as a Learning and Organisational Development Advisor.
You will be part of a dynamic team who deliver innovative training and support the delivery of our core trainings to our workforce of circa 6,000 employees.

Main duties of the job
- Implement the training plan over the 6 months for our core training offerings including appraisals and assertiveness, both in person and virtually.
- To support the implementation of the Trust's talent, performance, leadership and engagement strategies (eg What Matters).
- To emphasise, promote, and raise the profile of the importance of learning and organisational development in the workplace as a significant factor in improving patient care.
- Organising processes and ensuring accurate navigation to key resources.

- Deliver and evaluate high quality core skills learning and development programmes based on both organisational and individual needs on an on-going basis. Training delivery can reach 4-5 days a week at peak times.
- Delivery of a professional and customer focused learning and development service including researching theory based models, literature, journals, white papers, NHS plans to enforce current and future learning.
- When delivering training ensuring we have taken into account learning styles, Equality and Diversity and Inclusion taking advantage of the latest technology, to enhance and meet learners experience.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant current legislation, organisational procedures trends in practice, policies and professional codes of conduct in order to maintain high standards. Ensure a high understanding of the Trust Vision and Objectives.
- Role model, promote and enforce, organisational values CARE Compassionate, Aspirational, Resourceful, Excellent within all learning interventions and the behavioural framework. Facilitate discussions at individual and team level to embed the Trusts Behavioural framework.
- Working independently with self-motivation and collaboration at the heart to ensure the service runs effectively
