A position has arisen for a Receptionist / Patient Pathway Support for the Outpatients Department at the West Berkshire Community Hospital.
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual who is seeking an administrative role to support the smooth running and administration of the clinics. This will include scheduling patients, meet and greet reception duties and back office administration duties. The post holder will be expected to be flexible in their working patterns to ensure the efficient and professional approach to the clinics being held at West Berkshire Community Hospital.
You should have a proven track record of at least 12 months experience of reception duties and or administration experience. A welcoming and professional customer services approach is required as well as attention to detail being essential. You must have the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with your colleagues, patients, parents and visitors to the department. It is essential that you are able to work independently as well as within a team.

Main duties of the job
This will include general clerical and administrative duties that support the administrative elements of the entire patient pathway. The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the patient pathway. From checking in at reception and directing the patients to the correct waiting areas , taking telephone calls and updating the patients records Scanning clinical documents.
