Are you a seasoned healthcare leader with a passion for driving excellence and delivering top-quality patient care? Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Associate Director of Operations for Strategic Business Delivery and Pathology. A role at the forefront of shaping the future of healthcare delivery. As the Associate Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and deputising for the Director of Operations, who oversees a budget of approximately £100 million. Leading our engagement with Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS), including oversight of the mortuary , you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, efficient resource utilization, and strategic leadership within our Networked Care Group.
As the Associate Director of Operations for Networked Care at Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Trust the postholder will support and deputise for the Director of Operations who holds a budget of circa £100 million.
Main duties of the job
Exceptional Leadership: Demonstrate proven senior management experience in a diverse and complex healthcare environment, contributing to the strategic vision and operational excellence.
Financial Acumen: Showcase your knowledge of NHS financial regimes, budgetary management, and your ability to implement cost-effective strategies
Strategic Thinker: Drive the development and implementation of the Care Group strategy alongside the Director of Operations, ensuring alignment with Trust and community needs.
Innovative Problem Solver: Utilise business intelligence methodologies to identify and implement innovative solutions, leading on actions that realize benefits for cost improvement programs.
People-Centric Approach: Foster a collaborative and supportive Triumvirate working environment, promoting an improvement culture where staff are empowered to make positive changes.
Performance Management Expertise: Take a lead role in ensuring the delivery of performance targets, operating an effective and transparent performance management framework.
