Job summary
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Business Transformation Manager (BTM) is a key role in the organisation and CMO Directorate. The BTM is responsible for providing high quality, efficient and proactive support to ensure the CMO is able to carry out their role efficiently and effectively, and deliver on the Trusts strategic objectives for the CMO Directorate.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include development and delivery of the CMO business plan, overview and management of the CMO budgets, management of the medical job planning process and ensuring clinical workforce engagement and productivity. Support is also provided to the Associate Medical Directors (AMDs) who are responsible for delivering key aspects of the CMO portfolio, alongside liaising and working with others members of the executive team, external partners, such as GPs, officers within the ICS, ICP and academic colleagues, such as the University of Reading to ensure implementation and delivery of the Trusts clinical and strategic objectives.

The role will be varied, adapting over time depending on the priorities of the CMO Directorate and wider Organisation. Extensive engagement and relationship management is required, which should be conducted in line with the Trust CARE values and Leadership Behaviours Framework, at all times.
