Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner (GP) to join our team and contribute to the strategic development of the Primary Care branch of the South East (SE) School of Physician Associates (PAs) - Thames Valley/Wessex hub.

We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner (GP) to join our team and provide high level leadership. They will work alongside all PA School staff including the Regional Clinical Director, PA Director, School Managers, PA Ambassadors and our administrator. They will also work closely with the Thames Valley & Wessex Primary Care School team and local Integrated Care Boards (ICBs)

The South East PA school was established and funded by Health Education England (HEE) South East (SE) to enable and support delivery of excellent healthcare by Physician Associates across the region, through the education, training, development, employment, deployment, and retention of the profession.

The SE PA School will cover the breadth of the region, operating out of two hub sites [SASH NHS Trust, and RBH NHS Trust]; core faculty for the SE PA School will be identical in each hub site and post holders will be regarded as members of a SE-wide team, but with some specific geographical responsibilities.
