The Lead Analyst post is part of a team which ensure the Trust has effective information systems as a key element of the development and maintenance of a high-quality Workforce Information service in the Trust. The workforce systems must hold accurate and robust information to ensure the Trust's payroll is correct and that the information provided to the multiple systems that require staffing data, and in reports produced and shared with all stakeholders, is fit for purpose.
This is a highly specialised position with responsibility for developing, maintaining and producing a suite of regular, timely and relevant workforce information reports and dashboards to a large number of stakeholders, whilst providing expert advice and analysis to aid decision-making.
The post holder will also provide data as required to external bodies such as NHSI & NHSE to ensure the Trust is able to meet its national commitments and mandatory reporting. You will also respond to ad-hoc requests for information from a wider audience following Information Governance principles.

Youll provide information and analysis on highly complex issues for the areas that fall within your remit and act as a role model for the team you manage, as well as demonstrating the Trust CARE Values into action Framework by being kind and responsive, professional and informative. You will be expected to embody the behaviours detailed in the Trust Values Framework
The postholder will look to drive forwards improvements within the Workforce systems, promoting consistency within systems and accuracy of data. Being able to build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders at all levels will prove invaluable within this role to ensure the team are providing a proactive and value adding service. This will include taking part in national and regional projects to streamline access to systems and enable the movement of staff between organisations.
