An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the administration team in the Active Recovery Service.
Active Recovery provides a multi-disciplinary approach to support people in the community through a health crisis. Avoiding unnecessary admission to hospital and supporting patients to leave hospital at the earliest opportunity, by providing care and rehabilitation at home.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of our multi-disciplinary team consisting of managers, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, pharmacy technicians, assistants and pharmacists.
We are based on site at the Northern General Hospital, providing support 7 days a week and 365 days a year. You will need to be flexible to work across these days, the shift patterns vary from 07.30-15.30 or 10.00-18.00 or 07.30-18.00.
The role of the administrator is to provide a high standard of confidential administrative support to the service, receiving and processing electronic referrals, via health care record systems.
You will need to be an excellent communicator as the role includes contact with clinicians, patients and family members. Offering advice and solutions to enquires is integral to the role.
