Job summary
We are looking to appoint to 2PAs part-time Consultant Neurological Surgeon to the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield. A candidate with an interest in Epilepsy Surgery is sought to contribute to the continued development of the service in Sheffield. This post is fixed term for one year.
Main duties of the job
The appointee, together with consultant colleagues, will be responsible for the provision of adult neurosurgical services to the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The appointee will be expected to contribute to the delivery of complex epilepsy surgery.
The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the new consultant contract. An annual review of duties will take place with the Clinical Lead and Clinical Director as part of the job plan process.
