Job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Receptionist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in reception. The role will be based across at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital.
- Working on a Reception desk
- Recording various details on the Connect computerised system and database
- Ensuring patients notes, investigations
- Maintaining waiting list information, maintaining overdue reviews
- Reaccept patients at the reception desk
- Arranging follow up as required
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of a maximum of twelve months due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts and statutory maternity provisions.
Please also note any secondment must first be agreed with your current line manager.
Main duties of the job
Good organisational and communication skills are required to ensure a smooth and efficient service .
Computer and keyboard skills are essential to enable the post holder to utilise information on the Database, Patient Administrative System (PAS) and Results Reporting System
Assisting departmental secretary and the Senior Clerk within the department
