Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join the team as Service Co-ordinator within the Medical Imaging and Medical Physics Care Group (MIMP).
You should have excellent communication, organisation, and administrative skills. The successful candidate will lead admin functions reporting to the care group Operational Team and support planning & delivery of the outpatient radiology services across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The Service Coordinator will coordinate activity between clinical and administrative teams to ensure that immediate service activity demand requirements are met; escalating, where required, any challenges in delivering activity in line with contract targets.
This role is responsible for the planning, oversight, provision and leadership of the administrative services within Medical Imaging and Medical Physics.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent service experience at management level in relevant field: e.g. Business Administration, Hospital / General Management, IT or HR
- 5 GCSE (or equivalent) to include English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
Desirable
- Relevant vocational management and leadership qualifications or training courses demonstrating a proven track of record of commitment to learning and development.
