Job summary
We are looking to appoint to a whole-time Locum Consultant Dermatologist to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at Royal Hallamshire Hospital. This post is fixed term for 12 months.
Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.

Main duties of the job
The appointee will, together with senior colleagues (at both Consultant grade and other Specialist Grades), be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive, Dermatology Service. The successful candidate will work flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team to provide a high quality, comprehensive service within this teaching hospital environment. There are monthly team meetings and weekly Consultants' meetings.
The appointee will, together with senior colleagues (at both Consultant grade and other Specialist Grades) be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive, Dermatology Service. The successful candidate will work flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team to provide a high quality, comprehensive service within this teaching hospital environment.
The main roles and responsibility is the diagnosing, managing and treating of patient referred to the service. This will involve conducting outpatient clinics and undertaking surgical interventions and systemic treatment.
