Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic podiatrists to work within the community podiatry service.

This department has held the Customer Service Excellence Standard for 22 years and this ensures that patients receive a high standard of care to meet their needs.

We need motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individuals to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will be able to develop your clinical knowledge, caseload management skills, experience and be supported to provide excellent patient centred care.

There is the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of podiatry disciplines including MSK Podiatry and Podiatric Surgery due to improved links.

Within the Podiatry department, we have a well-regarded Multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot clinic, vascular and offloading service. There will also be the opportunity to be involved with nail surgery if interested.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Full driving license essential and access to a vehicle

Main duties of the job

JOB PURPOSE

To undertake podiatric care plans within the community, providing clinical care and health promotion advice to Sheffield patients with a foot disorder

ROLE OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Role of the Podiatry Department is to work within local and national guidelines and the evidence base, to provide effective care for patients with Foot disorders. The Podiatrist will contribute to this be contributing to the delivery of clinical care to patients with a foot problem and a clinical need for publicly funded podiatry
