We have two new exciting opportunities in Active Recovery CICS (Community Intermediate Care Service) as an Admin Coordinator.
Active Recovery is a multi- disciplinary team providing clinical support and rehabilitation to patients at home. The focus of the team is to promote admission avoidance into hospital, facilitate early discharge from hospital and to provide an urgent response to patients that may be in crisis at home. Active Recovery is a city-wide service which operates 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
The Post holder will be expected to communicate with a significant cross section of senior staff within STHFT, and external organisations, often dealing with confidential and urgent enquiries and correspondence.Undertake any other duties which may be allocated within the general scope of the post and appropriate to the grade.Infection prevention and control is integral to this post. The post holder should at all times demonstrate effective infection control and hygiene practice, adhering to the Dress Code Policy.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the designated Senior Clinician on the hub desk and wider members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the service is delivered efficiently and effectively.
For the Front Door Response Team, Discharge to Assess, and Community Referrals, you will manage waiting lists, coordinate live and monitor staff ledgers.
Working on a rota basis ensuring cover is provided Monday to Sunday 8am - 6pm, whilst maintaining a a flexible approach and develop the role according to service need.
To assist the Senior Clinicians in a range of administrative functions as deemed appropriate, that ensures that clinical time is preserved. This may include completion of the tissue viability audit spreadsheet, creating meetings, allocation of incident reports and diary management of the Senior Clinician.
