An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Sheffield GP Collaborative for an Admin Assistant. You will be team player, who is highly motivated, able work on own initiative with excellent communication skills.
You will provide administrative support to the clinical manager and other admin functions within the GP Collaborative.
The post is based at Sheffield GP Centre Collaborative Centre, Helipad, Northern General Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The main duty of the role is to provide administrative support to the GPC Matron, Clinical Educator and operational team to enable continuous improvement of the Directorates' administrative service.
The service is looking for someone who can demonstrate effective communication both verbal and written, has a friendly and professional telephone manner and can adopt a flexible approach to working. The successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised, independently and also as part of a team.

The GP Collaborative (GPC) provides an urgent out of hour's primary care service for the city of Sheffield. This includes providing clinical triage for patients referred by NHS 111 service, providing face to face clinical assessments and home visits when required. The GP collaborative also provides primary care for patients attending Accident & Emergency for care needs that can be directed and seen in The GP Collaborative Centre.
