Job summary
We are looking for a HR Manager to join our team on a secondment or fixed term basis. In the role you will be responsible for providing a specialised, responsive and consistent HR service during the formation of the SYB Pathology network.
The South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw (SYB) Pathology Transformation Programme will fully integrate pathology services currently provided in each of the five NHS Trusts within the Integrated Care System (ICS) footprint -
- Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (BHFT)
- Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (DBTHFT)
- The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRHFT)
- Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT)
- Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (STHFT)

Main duties of the job
You will provide on-going support to SYBP, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH) Care Groups and Corporate Departments through the business partner model on TUPE, retention, terms and conditions of service, performance management and other related workforce initiatives. Working within the appropriate Trust policies/procedures and employment law, taking advice from senior colleagues as required.
Undertaking day to day supervision of the HR Business Partner Team, you will support the HR Business Partner on a range of HR initiatives, deputising for the HR Business Partner as and when required.

- Significant knowledge and experience working in an employee relations / recruitment environment.

- Advising managers on Terms and Conditions of Service.
