Job summary
To provide training compliance analysis, reporting and support to the OGN care group.
To support in maintaining and improving mandatory training, job specific training and appraisal compliance figures across OGN. To support in creating a learning culture where mandatory training is a high priority in delivering services to our patients and staff achieve a high standard of safety to minimise risk. Providing support to managers and staff through their training and development and reporting.
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of a maximum of six months due to maternity leave of the substantive post holder. The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts and statutory maternity provisions.
Main duties of the job
- To produce a variety of regular high-quality reports required for the successful oversite of Training and Appraisal Compliance for Trust Executive Group (TEG), Care Quality Commission (CQC), Maternity Incentive Scheme (MIS), Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS).
- To produce last minute Adhoc reporting request to very tight deadlines.
- Analyse a variety of information and data to enable comprehensive and appropriate comparisons to be made. Undertake investigative work as required and challenge any data anomalies recognised through report analysis via discussion with relevant leads.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and analysing data in order to highlight useful information, calculate trajectories to increasing compliance.
- To review and develop efficient and effective methods of recording making the best use of functionality offered across training recording and report systems to reduce manual administration.
