Job summary
A new opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Research & Innovation Office Sheffield, delivering governance and contracting research co-ordination to clinical trials taking place within the Trust.
The Clinical Research & Innovation Office continues to develop as a centre of excellence, providing an integrated service for the stimulation, training and support of clinical and applied health research and innovation, as well as governance, contracting and costing functions, and along with supporting our NIHR Infrastructures.
Main duties of the job
Study set up and confirmation of capacity and capability: actively advising and guiding clinicians of all professions on all stages of the research process.
Contribute to the monitoring and audit procedures required of the CRIO for Trust and University research studies across all sites of the STH.
Contribute to the Quality Assurance of Clinical Research & Innovation Office systems.
Contribute to the Clinical Research & Innovation Office education programmes.
Contribute to the Clinical Research & Innovation Office website.
Take responsibility as lead in specified areas.
Assist in reporting and dissemination as required.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 2 years due to the post being externally funded.
