Job summary
It takes a special nurse to work in a specialist cancer centre. If you're looking for a fantastic place to deliver personalised care and develop your nursing career, we're looking for passionate and dedicated Staff Nurses to join our Day Case Unit and Outpatient unit, where you'll provide specialist, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing a range of check-ups, tests and systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT), including chemotherapies, immunotherapies and hormone therapies.
Working here, you'll gain experience looking after all aspects of cancer care from delivering treatments, symptom management.
During your induction programme, you'll be supported to develop a wide variety of skills and have the chance to rotate throughout all clinical areas within the hospital, including our busy outpatient's department, triage unit, research treatment suite.

Main duties of the job
You'll play a vital role assisting in the day-to-day running of our Day Case Unit and Outpatient department, by providing clinical nursing expertise, care and support to our patients at Weston Park. You'll also deliver chemotherapy and other anti-cancer treatments to our patients, including occasionally across our other hospital sites and services in order to support patient care.
