An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Wessex Cancer Alliance (WCA), hosted by University Hospital Southampton NHS FT (UHS) for a Project Officer to work on a variety of work programmes across the Alliance.

The cancer alliance works across Wessex to improve services for our patients whilst supporting providers in delivering improvements in cancer services. With the launch of the 10yr cancer plan in Feb 26 the alliance and key stakeholders will be overseeing a variety of workstreams for the next 3yrs focused on improving cancer performance and improving the experience of patients going through cancer treatment. To support these changes we are looking for an individual who will support our programme managers to undertake analytical reviews, create reports based on capacity and demand modelling alongside the review of key cancer pathways to support improvement in performance. Therefore, assimilation of key information and facilitating cohesion across the different work programmes within the cancer alliance to help delivery of the cancer strategy will also form a key part of this role.
