Main duties of the job

The South East Neurosciences and Trauma Strategic Network aligns all the regional Operational Delivery Networks (ODN) for Neurosciences and Major Trauma together to deliver the specialised services transformation agenda across the SE region. This involves working with all providers, ICB's and primary care teams to realise the vision of equitable, quality and timely care closer to home.Each ODN has a leadership team consisting of Clinical Lead, manager and lead AHP, RN or healthcare scientist.

The lead RN / AHP or healthcare scientist will work closely with the other members of the ODN Leadership team and the regional complex case managers to lead and inspire professionally qualified staff to analyse existing pathways, identify opportunities for change and support local teams to implement change. This role will also support the clinical lead with the clinical governance arrangements of the ODN and lead on patient and public voice.The Neurosciences and Trauma Strategic Network is seeking 4 part-time ODN lead AHP / RN / healthcare scientists; 2.5 days / ODN (Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, Neurology and Spinal Cord Injury).
