Main duties of the job
This appointment is for a Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist with an interest in Lung Cancers for a period of 12 months to cover a maternity leave. This is split 2 days at Salisbury District Hospital (SDH) and 2 days a week at University Hospital Southampton (UHS).
You will join the Medical Oncology consultant team, specifically:
o To provide specialist Medical Oncology input with expertise in Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy for these groups of patients.o To treat patients with Lung cancers at UHS and SDHo To provide support to the Respiratory team for inpatient admissions with Lung Cancero To provide oncology input to the UHS/SDH lung MDTs.
The post is available as a part time 9 PA post.
You must hold Full registration (with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC) or be eligible for registration within six months of interview.
