Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Supportive and Palliative Care Team at UHS. This is a permanent Band 7 position with the team providing specialist palliative care and end of life care to adults across Southampton General Hospital and Princess Anne Hospital.

We run a 7 day a week service supporting patients with non-malignant and malignant diseases. The post holder will join the senior management team and share a caseload of patients who have specialist palliative care needs including; symptom management, psychological care, rehabilitation and end of life care.
