Main duties of the job
The Child Health Care Group are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the team in the role of admissions team leader.
Our Child Health admissions office operates Monday-Friday covering core office hours of between 8am-5pm. They provide administrative support for a wide range of clinicians and specialities in terms of managing their waiting lists effectively. Patients are admitted from across the region and Channel Islands to our services.
Southampton Children's Hospital is part of University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) and is one of the largest teaching trusts in the country.
Southampton Children's Hospital is a major centre for specialist paediatric services across the south of England providing acute specialist care to our local population as well as a wider geographical area that includes the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands.
