Main duties of the job

The aim of this post is to appoint a subspecialist consultant in Reproductive Medicine to join an established team within a major university teaching hospital.

Complete Fertility clinic maintains its close affiliation to the University of Southampton, and UHS. Under formalized mutual agreement between UHS and CFC, students (medical, nursing and midwifery) and trainees (Wessex obstetrics and gynaecology, ATSM and subspecialty) continue their fertility and reproductive medicine training between both locations.

Complete Fertility currently performs around 550 fresh cycle of IVF/ICSI, and around 180 IUI/DI cycles and 400 frozen cycle numbers per year. It has a full IVF laboratory with time-lapse facilities. The centre treats both NHS and private patients in a ratio of approximately 30:70 respectively. The centre receives over 1500 NHS referrals from GPs in Hampshire per year.
