Main duties of the job

University Hospital Southampton (UHS) Maternity Services are seeking band 6 midwives who are enthusiastic and committed to working in collaboration with women, their families and multi-disciplinary teams, supporting personalised choice and promoting exemplary care in line with national transformation ambitions and Trust Values.

UHS Maternity is a fast-paced progressive service with just over 5000 births every year and proudly received the rating of 'Good' from the CQC in May 2023. We are also a regional centre for fetal and maternal medicine providing specialist care for women with medical problems during pregnancy, and for those whose baby's need extra care before or around birth.
