We have a cracking new opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join the People team at UHS. This maternity cover position is running to April 2025, looking after a range of stakeholders including our wholly owned subsidiaries (Wessex Procurement Ltd, UHS Estates Ltd and UHS Pharmacy Ltd), plus hosted organisations such as Wessex Cancer Alliance, and Health Innovation Wessex.

The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and a broad understanding of HR from employment law to recruitment, reward to reporting, and organisation design to people development. Youll have the technical knowledge to underpin your influencing skills, including level 7 CIPD qualification and a solid background within HR knowledge of TUPE is of particular interest.
Youll ideally have worked as an HRBP before, but this isnt essential. NHS experience would be helpful but isnt essential either! Whats critical is that you are someone with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders with different agendas and a focus on delivery. A commercial mindset is important, allied to the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
Were looking for someone to work 30 hours per week, this is a hybrid role 50/50 onsite/remote.
