We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a self motivated, dynamic and driven person to join our innovative supply services team. We are looking for applicants from either a Pharmacy Technician or procurement background. This advert is linked to our Pharmacy Technician Manager, Logistics post. There is one post which will be filled by the most suitable candidate from either advert. This is a development post with entry level at band 6 progressing to band 7 following competency sign off. Expected timeframe for re-grade is 12 - 18months.The team, consisting of over 30 Pharmacy Support workers and Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for the safe and effective procurement, receipt, distribution and invoicing of all medication for the Trust and several external organisations.As a department we have an outlook that is forward thinking and we are committed to delivering our Trust values. At band 7 you will have overall responsibility for the provision of an effective and efficient Pharmacy logistics service, ensuring that professional and legal requirements around the procurement and supply and payment of medicines are met and maintained.
