Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 midwife to join our small, friendly team of midwives providing an immunisation service within Maternity. This role is for 15 hours per week and is fixed term for 6 months.
This team may be small but their impact in exceeding the nationally recorded levels of vaccination in pregnant women is impressive. The team offer Pertussis (whooping cough) to women all year around with a seasonal offer of the Flu vaccination. You will be a part of the Public Health focus for our service in helping to provide protection to our mothers, other service users and babies.
The immunisation team midwives would be delighted to give you more information around how they cover their clinics during normal and peak times, they can be contacted on 023 8120 4594.

To work in the maternity services Vaccination clinic, safely delivering whooping cough and seasonal flu vaccinations. To provide relevant advice and health promotion information to pregnant people attending the clinic.
