B5 Rotational Physiotherapist, rotating across different specialities every 6 months to gain wide range of experience and broad knowledge.
We have an exciting opportunity for Physiotherapists to join our friendly and supportive therapy team on our 6-month rotations at UHS. This role is for experienced B5s looking for a new challenge, or a newly qualified Physiotherapist looking to start your career and develop new skills. As a Physiotherapist you are an autonomous practitioner, so we are seeking candidates who have a flexible approach, a willingness to learn and the ability to respond to the demands of a rapidly changing clinical environment.
This post is part of the wider Therapy services department. You will have many opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge through our in-service training. You will be part of a large department of over 260 wte Therapy staff including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff.
We run a 7-day therapy service so weekend working, on a roster basis, will be expected as part of your working hours. This will include covering Bank Holidays and being part of our overnight acute respiratory on-call rota.

Support patient discharges, with the support of the wider MDT Engage in training and developmental opportunities for yourself and others. Support students and therapy technicians Develop a network of relationships with partner agencies to deliver the best possible care for patients across organisational boundaries. Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Work across In-patients and Out-patients according to the rotation

The successful applicant should have relevant graduate clinical experience with a desire to develop their knowledge and skills in the care of patients with a wide range of pathologies. Excellent support will be given towards continual learning and professional development, and you will be given in-service training to support your career. All staff are expected to work flexibly to support a 7-day service.
Essential:BSc/Pre-reg MSc Physiotherapy : Completed or to be completed within 4 months.HCPC Registered/Awaiting HCPC RegistrationRelevant clinical experience from previous roles or clinical placements.Expectation to work in a 7-day service as role requires.
