Job summary
We are looking for an ambitious Service Manager to deliver exciting service developments within a complex, fast-paced environment incorporating service transformation and reconfiguration.
You will provide effective operational leadership for the service; working with senior colleagues to ensure the service is responsive, innovative and provided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards.
The Endoscopy service at University Hospital Southampton Foundation Trust has recently expanded to 7 endoscopy suites which operate 7 days a week treating over 1300 patients a month.

Supporting the development and delivery of service strategy together with ensuring appropriate risk management processes are in place to deliver a safe, high quality, patient centred service.
Provide solutions and/or advice to staff in response to pressures that may affect throughput.
Delivery of key performance targets in line with local and national agreements.

- Leadership training

- Training and experience to Masters' or equivalent level/post graduate level study
- Project Management qualification / further training or demonstrates substantial level of project delivery experience
- Consolidated experience to demonstrate capability and capacity for management of health services at a senior level
- Demonstrable staff and resource management experience across a range of a variety of issues
- Able to facilitate and implement policy, guidelines and projects from initiation to completion
