Job summary

An exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced BI and data warehouse manager to join the Digital team at Southampton Hospital. If you're passionate about working with others to understand their information needs and translate them into effective reporting and visualisation solutions, then we'd love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production and promotion of BI visualisation tools and for steering the development of the Trust's data warehouse. Overseeing a talented team of BI developers, you will be the product owner for our Insight Platform including Power BI and associated Azure and Bedrock Data warehouses.

  • Experience of presenting complex information to senior managers
  • Able to demonstrate extensive experience of information analysis and reporting .
  • Experience of working to prioritise, and meet, tight set timescales and deadlines
  • Adaptation, creation, and implementation of policy and procedures within information setting

Desirable

  • Healthcare information, analytics, data science, or computing background
  • AGILE methodology
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Good working knowledge of NHS
  • Working knowledge of UHS databases and systems
  • Experience of NHS Acute Sector data sets
  • Experience of training people / teams in national standards
