Your Responsibilities What youll do This post represents an excellent opportunity within clinical research.You will be working on-site to help provide support to embedded research teams across the trust for new and existing studies.
You will be involved in providing clinical support for trials and research studies and you will work collaboratively with research nurses in providing specialist research and clinical care to research participants.You will also coordinate volunteer recruitment and management in clinical trials.You will provide administrative and data management support including data entry and management for a variety of databases, compile study folders, prepare documents for monitoring, meeting planning and general administrative duties.
What were looking forWe are currently looking for full-time band 4 senior clinical trial assistants to work in our Clinical Research Facility Adult nursing team and Cancer and Vaccine team. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility and drive will be required to ensure the success of this post. You will need to have an excellent level of written and verbal communication skills and good time management skills with the ability to meet a deadline.
It is essential that you have administrative experience in a clinical healthcare setting and significant relevant experience in a patient-facing healthcare-facing role. You must have either the care certificate or foundation degree/NVQ3 qualification in a healthcare-related subject coupled with evidence of ongoing professional development. IT literacy including data management and Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge are essential. Clinical Research experience is desirable but not essential as full research training will be provided.
You must be flexible to cover different shift patterns including nights and weekends and be able to travel for the purposes of work.
