Southampton PHDU is excited to be recruiting into sister/charge nurse role. Although we are looking to recruit into this post as a fixed term to cover maternity leave, we will also be happy to discuss the possibility of secondment opportunities also and would request that you get in touch to discuss this request further.

If you are a highly motivated, dedicated registered nurse with post qualifying experience of working in an acute paediatric environment, we'd love to hear from you!

We are looking for someone who has good leadership skills, to support and motivate staff across the unit ensuring safe and effective care to all our patients.

The flexibility to work the full range of shift patterns within a 24 hour shift pattern is essential.

Act as a role model to nursing staff, encouraging effective working relationships and development of a cohesive nursing team.

Show good co-ordination and leadership skills.
