Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Maternity Day Assessment Unit (MDAU). We are seeking to recruit an experienced midwife to provide specialist expertise to women and birthing people in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period, delivering high quality, evidence-based care to women and acting as an advocate for women within MDAU. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave. Full time/part time hours will be considered.
MDAU is a fast-paced environment staffed by a team of enthusiastic and dedicated midwives who show commitment to prioritising care whilst working in partnership with women and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
The Maternity Service aims to offer a multitude of possibilities for career progression and professional development for band 6 midwives who wish to expand their knowledge, experience and skills. The service recognises that band 6 midwives are our future aspiring leaders, managers and specialist practitioners and therefore we look to ensure that you receive appropriate training, education and supportive responsibility within the clinical setting to help you achieve your career development.
