Job summary
UHS is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Software Test Analyst to join the HICSS commercial business, The person will provide excellent software testing skills for the HICSS clinical software used across many NHS trusts in the UK. Supporting our development team you will plan, perform and execute testing projects. Track and manage issues using Jira and Xray. You'll have the ambition and desire to want to make a difference.
ABOUT THE TEAM University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) holds the status of Global Centre of Digital Excellence and is leading an exciting programme to become paperless as a digital exemplar trust. The HICSS team provide operational support for the Endoscopy management software used at UHS and at partner Trusts, as well as delivering regular upgrades to enhance and expand the functionality within these applications.
Core hours for the HICSS Commercial team are 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WHAT YOULL DO
You will be a key member of the HICSS testing team to ensure the software supports the needs of our customers.Key duties will include: Being responsible for performing testing of the HICSS commercials software, interpreting customer requirements Planning and executing assigned testing projects as of the development lifecycle Tracking and managing issues, defects and change control relating to product development. This will be done using Jira and the XRAY plugin. Working closely with testing leads, analysts and developers to ensure the quality and safety of our software.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR Were looking for a dynamic software test analyst with extensive experience of working on complex healthcare applications. Well be looking for you to demonstrate experience in:
Working with software testing best practices. Interpret complex user stories and acceptance criteria so testing scenarios are fit for purpose. Excellent communicator and comfortable contributing ideas and solutions to the team. Experience working to demanding timescales and exacting standards.

Desirable
- ISTQB foundation or intermediate certificate in software testing.
