Job summary
We are looking for someone who will put patients and communities at the heart of our research. A creative, engaging leader who can connect the public and researchers. Someone who can drive programmes serving a wide range of research subjects and types.
COVID-19 showed what the researchers and the people of Wessex can do together. Together they found answers fast. Together they helped deliver new tests, drugs, PPE - and the vaccines that paved our way out.
Our growing Southampton Centre for Research Engagement & Impact was key to that. We engage and involve all those with a stake in research. Across our region's communities and organisations. That drives research to deliver the most benefit for the most people.
There's a huge range of projects, activities and relationships to take on and grow. We're intent on expanding and developing. You will join us in this, ensuring we engage the people of our region as equal partners in all that we do.
