Job summary
This is a new Senior Fellow post within our Neurology team here at the Wessex Neurological Centre (WNC) with a specialist focus on supporting patients who have been diagnosised with Mutliple Sclerosis (MS). Our MS team is the busy hub of a 'hub and spoke' model for the Wessex region so this is a brilliant opportunity for the successful candidate to build their knowledge and understanding of this group of patients.
The role will be predominantly based at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust but we are delighted that this role will also work with the neurology team based at University Hospitals Dorset (approx. 2 days per month) so this is an excellent opportunity to develop network links and partnership working.
The Neurology service at WNC has a well established team of 30 Consultant colleagues along with a range of specialist nurses, neuropsychology and neuroradiology to name a few.
