Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Wessex Genomics Laboratory Service for a full-time laboratory training lead with suitable experience and qualifications in genomics to lead the training requirements for the technical service.
WGLS is a new integrated genomics testing service formed from the amalgamation of Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory, operating from Salisbury District Hospital, and Molecular pathology, operating from University Hospital Southampton (UHS). The WGLS is a member of the Central & South Genomic Laboratory Hub.
The successful candidate will manage the laboratory training programme for both sites, covering a range of supporting, technical and scientific roles. The training programme will need to meet all regulatory needs such as BSI Standard ISO15189 accreditation.

This will provide an exciting opportunity for you to lead on planning the training requirements of a site move.
