An exciting opportunity has arisen within specialist medicine management team for a permanent Operations Manager to join the team at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).
The Specialist Medicine care group covers a variety of services including Endoscopy, Dermatology, Hepatology and Managed Care. You would be joining a strong care group management team including a Care Group Manager, Matrons and Associate Operations Manager.

In this role you will ensure the effective day to day running of the Care Group, escalating to the Care Group Manager as required.- To review and audit service delivery and identify opportunities for further modernisation/rationalisation.- Take an active role in the shaping and leading of the strategic direction of the Care Group.- Managing the delivery of internal and external targets for specialist areas and the general Care Group.- A key requirement for success will be the ability to work with and motivate the clinical teams.- To deputise for the Care Group manager as required.
