Exciting opportunities have arisen for nurses looking to develop specialist clinical and managerial skills and progress their career within Neuro Oncology nursing. You will work in the Neuro oncology team as a nurse specialist providing follow up care and advice to the Skull base tumour patient group, hosting nurse led clinics virtually and participating in research. You will join a team of professionals with expert knowledge in the investigation and treatment of patients who may have a brain tumours.
The Wessex Neurological Centre (WNC) is one of the largest neuroscience centres in the country providing services to a population of 3 million people. The Band 6 Specialist Nurse is responsible for the provision of specialist nursing care for a defined patient/client group, practicing as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team. Duties will include but not restricted to:
