Job summary

We are looking for a Dietetic Assistant to work within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire for 12 months. The post holder will be based at Hopewood and work alongside two experienced Dietitians to support with the assessment and treatment of Children and Young People with Eating Disorders.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of the role is to support the registered dietitian in the assessment, monitoring and treatment of Children and Young People with an Eating Disorder. Undertaking related administration in accordance with the British Dietetic Association code of professional conduct for dietetic assistants. The post holder will be expected to work within the wider MDT delivering interventions to Children and Young People under the guidance of the registered dietitians within the team.

The post holder will work under the direct supervision of a registered dietitian to deliver high quality dietetic interventions within agreed policies and protocols.
