Main duties of the job
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care for patients in acute and locked rehabilitation settings.
- Lead clinical care for up to 16 beds on Rowan 2, our female acute mental health ward.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred care.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and carers.
- Supervise and appraise junior medical staff, ensuring GMC standards and compliance.
- Participate in service planning, business development, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in annual appraisal, job planning, and CPD activities.
- Maintain professional registration, Section 12 approval, and Approved Clinician status.
