Job summary

Within our Community Children and Young People's Services (CCYPS), we are looking for a passionate and experienced Centre Manager to lead the administrative functions and facilities management of our Children's Development Centre, and other community children's specialist services bases where needed. This is a key role focused on ensuring the smooth running of our centre / bases, supporting clinical teams, managing resources efficiently and creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive.

The role is for 22.5 hours per week (0.6 wte) Band 5 based at the Children's Development Centre, Nottingham City Hospital Site.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities :

Oversee day-to-day delivery of services within the Children's Development Centre (CDC), ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.Lead and manage administrative and support staff across our children's services, fostering positive and productive working environments.Provide H and S oversight of our other bases where needed.Work closely with clinical teams to support service delivery and patient experience.Oversee procurement processes and liaise with contractors and suppliers.Ensure health and safety, safeguarding, and infection control protocols are followed.
