Job summary
This is a great opportunity for a Dietitian to join a well developed and expert eating disorder service to offer Dietetic treatment within Nottinghamshire Community Eating Disorder team. This is a full time position but part-time would be considered.
The post holder will work clinically across the service that cover Nottinghamshire (Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark, Sherwood, Bassetlaw, Nottingham South and City).
This is an exciting role and will mean the post holder joins a network of dietitians working with Eating Disorder Services and Mental Health, Learning Disability & Forensic settings within the Trust.
You will be well supported in your role with our peer network across the all age pathway and working alongside our experienced Specialist Dietitian
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist dietetic assessment and interventions to adultswithin a variety ofCommunitysettings
- Provide consultation to other community healthcare colleagues
- Contribute to student training

- You will be responsible for dietetic assessment, treatment planning and goal orientated interventions to adults referred to the service within a variety ofCommunity settings such as clinics, group sessions, care homes and domiciliary visits. This may also be delivered via phone and video appointments and virtual groups.
- Participate in multi-professional working for the purpose of dietetic care

- You will be responsible for your own clinical professional development and HCPC registration
- You will participate in mandatory training as required by the Trust
