Job summary
We are looking for someone with Supervision experience, hardworking and energetic with a passion for delivering quality freshly cooked, healthy, wholesome food to our in patients, staff and visitors.
The post is 37.5 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, but there may be a requirement to work weekends and Bank holidays).
City & Guilds 7061/2 or equivalent and previous experience of supervising or managing a busy catering environment is a minimum requirement.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone to provide visible day-to-day leadership in our Catering Department assisting in the day to day operational management and development of Catering Services in liaison with Catering Manager ensuring a quality, efficient service, whilst complying with all relevant legislation.

To provide assistance and information as required around the patient meals and menus and to provide a point of contact between the catering provision and the wards to identify any issues or specific dietary requirements including allergen information.
Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.
Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
