Job summary

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ 2 in Direct care or equivalent and have experience in caring for older people preferably in a hospital or in-patient setting.

Our friendly, supportive and developing unit comprises 3 wards of 24 inpatient beds for predominantly older patients, with complex medical and nursing conditions, undergoing nursing care, rehabilitation and complex discharge planning, working towards a safe discharge home.

We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, compassionate Health Care Assistants who want to develop their careers and broaden their experiences. They will have excellent communication and team working skills, a professional manner and a commitment and interest in older peoples nursing. They will also have a desire to develop their own knowledge, skills and experience.
